Experience Highlights

  • Classroom – Serve as mentor and role model, assisting students in reaching their goals. Plan curriculum, prepare lessons, and instruct students in academic subjects, life skills, and social interaction skills, utilizing cooperative learning techniques and hands-on materials. Confer with parents, administrators, social workers, and others to resolve student problems. Participate in ARD (Admissions Review and Dismissal) meetings, establishing individual curriculum, adjusting teaching style for visual, kinesthetic or auditory learners, and monitoring progress.

  • Business Development – Plan, direct, and implement programs to meet organizational goals and student needs. Design curriculum and develop creative advertising to spark interest and increase member participation.

  • Administration – Provide key administrative support, maintain strong vendor/client relations, and generate organizational reports. Identify and resolve problems which arise in day-to-day activities, while maintaining a balanced perspective. Handle complicated orders, remaining focused despite interruptions and distractions. Complete tasks, forms, and reports in an efficient and timely manner and submit necessary paperwork to all departments involved.
